Two gutter cleaning prices can describe different amounts of work. One may cover the accessible front and rear channels; another may include extra elevations, a conservatory or difficult outlets. The total becomes meaningful only when the scope is clear.

For a WWR Roofing enquiry, identify the parts of the building concerned and the problem you want addressed. A recurring overflow needs a more precise description than a general request for a routine clean.

Count the sections, not just the storeys

Bays, extensions, porches and separate garages can add runs and connections. A simple photograph or sketch helps show which are included. Note where gutters are concealed or cannot be observed from the ground.

The quotation should distinguish open channels from outlets and downpipes, with any limits stated. Do not assume that every buried drainage connection forms part of a roofing maintenance visit.

Make access visible in the price

Conservatories, restricted passages and uneven ground can affect how the work is reached. Describe them before a price is treated as complete. A quote based on an unobstructed elevation may not describe your property.

Establish the treatment of debris removal and any photographs or condition notes to be supplied. Those details help explain what completion means.

Keep repairs separate from cleaning

A leaking joint or damaged support is not simply more debris to remove. If a defect is found, have the proposed repair described and priced distinctly. Confirm the final amount, VAT treatment and exclusions before agreeing the work.

Our gutter cleaning page provides the enquiry route. The completion record guide explains the information worth retaining after the channels have been cleared.
