Replacing the roof tiles
The overhead views show the roof during stripping and retiling. Existing red tiles remain on one slope while brown interlocking tiles cover the adjoining sections. Roofers are working around one of the roof windows, with battens exposed where tiles have been removed.
The close-up of the newly tiled slope shows the interlocking tile profile and the courses running down towards the eaves. The roof includes hips and valleys, with scaffold platforms around the working edges.
Roof windows and flashing details
The roof window sits within the new tiled slope, with metal flashing visible around its frame. Beside it, the neighbouring slope remains at the underlay and tile-batten stage. This view shows how the window opening fits into the surrounding tile courses.
The garden view shows the rear roof window within the brown tiled slope above the conservatory. Ridge and verge work is still in progress in these photographs.
